Canadian screen actor best recognized for her performance in Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. Her first appearance was on CBS' Blood & Treasure, from 2019 onwards. Other roles include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she was a part of in 2005. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay who is an actress, director and producer playwright educator and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first memory is of watching her mom work in the kitchen and going to play rehearsals. Silk had the privilege of being a young actor in numerous commercials. She graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. When she first began her career in theater she participated in at least 2 Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. They have two sons named Samuel as well as Levi. She landed her first major character as Bo Dennis, a succubus on the Canadian Television show Lost Girl in 2009. CNN has named her portrayal of Bo with Lauren in Lost Girl as a same-sex couple one of their favorite TV couples of all time. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's internet popularity increased because of the show.
