Also, she is known for her voice-over work on several TV and film productions. She was born in Dayton Ohio she grew up in a family of three. Thompson moved to Australia together with her family around the age six. After graduating from high school and travelling the world for five years Thompson relocated back to New York to pursue a career as a model.
