Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982 in the Australian state of Victoria, is an actress. Gilpin was able to gain a significant amount of TV experiences in the subsequent seasons, mostly through guest roles. The actress finally received her big break with Nurse Jackie's role as a regular on the show in 2013. Gilpin played the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes before Nurse Jackie was removed in June of 2015. That same year Gilpin appeared in mystery-thriller True Story (2015).
